Linkx Systems, one of the UK’s most successful and fastest growing suppliers of end-of-line packaging equipment, has reached an important and wide-ranging partnership agreement with SIAT SpA, a leading and highly respected Italian packaging machine manufacturer.
As a result of the agreement, Linkx Systems is now selling, alongside its own custom and standard products, the full range of SIAT end-of-line packaging equipment. In addition, Linkx is offering a comprehensive support service for SIAT machines in the UK, irrespective of their age and the supplier from whom they were purchased.
The Linkx support service for SIAT machines guarantees fast response times from skilled and experienced engineers based in the UK, easy access to manuals and documentation, and readily available telephone support. To underpin this service, Linkx has made a major investment in UK stock of a wide range of commonly used spare parts for SIAT machines, and these parts are normally available for same-day despatch.
Linkx can offer service contracts for SIAT equipment, which can be tailored for companies of almost any size, from small operations with one or two machines up to large blue-chip companies that operate large numbers of SIAT machines and invest in regular maintenance to ensure that they are always in optimum condition.
The SIAT products that Linkx is offering include case tapers, closers and erectors, pallet stretch wrappers, Columbia strapping tools, conveyors, automatic pallet wrapping systems and shrink-wrapping machines. As well as new machines, the company can supply refurbished SIAT equipment at very competitive prices, and in many cases immediate delivery is possible.
“We’ve been working with SIAT machines for a long time and they never fail to impress us with their quality and value for money,” said David Hayward, Managing Director of Linkx Systems. “We are, therefore, delighted to be entering into this partnership agreement which will enable us to give our customers even better service and support for these excellent products.”
“Our new relationship with SIAT also means that it is now easy for us to work closely with the Italian engineers to produce machines that are customised before despatch to meet special user requirements. In addition, we are now in an excellent position to feed back comments and requests from our customers, which will help to shape SIAT’s future developments.”
The SIAT range of machines are offered in parallel to the Linkx brand machines, which includes the new VE series of tray erector.
